Weight management is a key factor in experiencing optimal health and vitality. Maintaining a healthy weight can decrease a person’s risk for such diseases as diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease among others. An increased vitality and enhanced aesthetic can be other benefits of achieving and maintaining a “healthy weight” and normal body fat percentage.
Our weight loss program offers a weight loss method where you can lose abnormal fat stores at a motivational pace. Past patients have lost anywhere from one half to one pound per day. Results will vary based on your own compliance. Gender is also a factor, as men will usually lose more than women.

Prior to starting our weight loss program, you will meet with our Physician Assistant, Ana. Ana specializes in medically supervised weight loss and will conduct your initial consultation and follow you throughout your participation in the program. The initial consultation serves as an exchange of information regarding the program and a physical evaluation including your past medical history, blood pressure, pulse, weight, and measurements. A comprehensive metabolic panel to measure kidney function, liver function, hemoglobin, hematocrit, glucose, lipids, thyroid function, and pregnancy testing if applicable will be done prior to beginning the program. Confidential photos will be taken and stored in your medical chart when you start the program as well as when you finish or reach your goal weight.
