Physician-Supervised Weight Loss Injections

At Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Institute, our board-certified plastic surgeon – Daniel C. Mills, MD, FACS – is proud to offer a range of treatments designed to support your overall health and well-being. As part of our commitment to providing safe, evidence-based care, we now offer physician-supported weight management injections for eligible patients seeking a more structured and clinically guided path to weight optimization.

These injections may involve the use of solutions that are designed to support appetite regulation and promote a feeling of fullness. When administered under medical supervision and combined with a healthy diet and regular physical activity, this approach may help certain individuals improve their metabolic health and achieve meaningful, long-term weight management goals.

Who Is a Candidate for Physician-Supervised Weight Loss Injections?

Candidates for our physician-supervised weight loss program are typically adults with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or greater with at least one weight-related health condition (e.g. high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes).* Dr. Mills will perform a thorough medical evaluation to determine whether this treatment may be appropriate for your unique needs and health history. Not all patients will qualify, and safety is our top priority.

How Are Physician-Supervised Weight Loss Injections Administered?

Provided you are eligible for our physician-supervised weight loss programs, injections are typically administered once per week via a subcutaneous shot (just under the skin). Dr. Mills and our team will provide detailed guidance on how to store, handle, and administer the medication, as well as monitor your progress through regular check-ins.

If you are interested in physician-supervised weight loss, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with Dr. Mills. He will gladly meet with you to help you learn more about this type of treatment – from eligibility to side effects to pricing and beyond.
